Well, I did it. I finally graduated. I'm so glad high school is over with. Other than that, nothing is going on until next week. I got my cd's and I'm painting a fence. That's about it.

Sigh... Graduation isn't here yet. I want to be done with high school. Most people are sad to graduate or think of it as the end of a chapter in their life. I think of it as a waste of time. I'll probably miss it though. I'm stupid like that...

Gosh, what's a girl to do with all this stuff going on in her life? I've been drumming out the butt lately. It's good, cause I don't really practice all that much anymore, which is bad. Prom is this saturday. That should be fun. I'm going with Mary Anne. Hurray for me! Then after that it's just counting down till graduation, which in turn means an awesome summer beginning. I wish it was here now...

Ahhh... Florida was awesome. So many things happened. Like for instance, me randomly getting into a dance-off with a black dude and losing, thus me getting served, losing my voice and a lot of other stuff for no reason, buying flip-flops, and just getting to hang out with all my good friends. sigh... I don't want to go to school tomorrow...

I haven't updated this in a while, and I mean updated updated. So let me start...

Well, I've been busy. I haven't been home hardly at all. I've been playing in the school musical and percussion ensemble. It's nice to get all that playing time, but I think it's a little too much. I also start the county jazz ensemble next week. Well, it actually started this week, but I had to practice for the musical.

Also next week is Florida, which is a band trip, so I'm playing more... I can't wait for that. If it's anything like the Herky one, it should be a good time for all.

Other than that, I don't have anything else. I've been thinking about a lot of things lately. Like prom for instance. I don't really want to go, but everyone is telling me to go. Besides, I probably couldn't find a date anyway. Everyone is either going in a group or already has a date. I wish I could not go and not get bothered, but I don't see that happening. I've been to three already, so I'm not missing out on anything. Oh well...

This week was pretty crappy in the long run. Zak and Cj on tuesday, allergies all week, and then friday night. I hope the rest of the weekend is fun. Hopefully I'll go with Leah tonight, and then I'm hanging out with Nick sunday night.

So, I'm back from NC. I had a blast. The beach is so relaxing... This entire week was chill, from sitting on the beach late at night (once by myself...), to hangin with Rosta Dub. It was truly amazing...

I got 2 new cd's yesterday. Armor For Sleep's "What To Do When You Are Dead" and Jack Johnson's "In Between Dreams". They're both really good. Jack has done his best work. I'm still wondering about AFS. I think I have the same mentality about this cd as I did for their last one, and that is that it's ok, but the more I listen to it, the better it gets. Oh well. That means I have something to look forward to...

What the heck... I put gel in my hair so that it's not as poofy since it's long, and everyone either makes some stupid comment on it or messes it up.(Mary Anne, I'm thinking of you...) Honestly, this isn't anything new for me. I've been doing this on and off for the past 2 years or so.

I thought today was going to suck, but it ended up being totally awesome. I went to JMU and walked around. I have to say, I like the campus a lot better now that I've been all over it. I even took a tour of a dorm, which was cool. But all that really matters is that I did pretty well on my audition. WVU was nerve-wrecking because I had no idea what to expect, but I knew what to do here, so I think I did good. And the awesomeness continued when I got home, with the arrival of Death Cab for Cutie's "You Can Play These Songs With Chord." My life is amazing right now...

So, I went skiing today. I had a blast. It's nice to be able to do something for a couple of hours and not worry about life. Well, other than cracking your skull open on the icy ground. But even then, you're like, "Wow! That was fun!"

Ah, Valentine's Day. How fitting that it was raining and cold all day long. Valentine's Day is the worst holiday ever. I did get a flower-gram from Mary Anne and a valentine from Leah, so that was at least nice.
